What is Smoolis?

Smoolis is a hosted Software-as-a-service (SaaS) ecommerce solution, allowing small online retailers to open functional online stores with a minimum in capital expense.

Why should I use Smoolis?

You are able to build your store in as many languages as you like, with free and ready responsive themes and without any transaction or set up fees. We also give you a 14 day trial to fully prepare your store and test it with real sales.

Do I pay anything during the trial?

No, the trial is absolutely free.

Do I need to enter my credit card details to sign up?

No. You can sign up and try Smoolis for 14 days without entering your credit card details. At the end of the trial, you will need to pick a plan that best fits your needs and enter your credit card details.

What are the limitations for the trial versions of your software?

The free trial version is designed to enable you to use the full functionality of our software without any limitations for 14 days. After the trial, the product expires, giving you an option to purchase the full version with no time limitations.

Can I use my own Domain?

Yes. You can use your own domain, provided that the domain is registered with a hosting provider and the DNS settings can be accessed. Or register only a free Smoolis subdomain. Smoolis does not provide any domains or email accounts.

Which payment gateways are supported by Smoolis?

Smoolis currently is integrated with Stripe, Braintree, and PayPal Express Checkout.

What payments methods are possible?

Smoolis allows you to accept payments for your products via five payment methods: Credit card payments (through Stripe or Braintree), PayPal Express Checkout, On Account (Invoice), Bank Deposit, and Cash on Pickup.

Do you charge transaction fees?

No, we do not charge any transaction fees. All the profit from the products you sell, is yours.

Is there a setup fee?

No. There are no setup fees on any of our plans.

Can I create a multilingual online store?

Yes, the Smoolis solution is available in 58 languages and 116 currencies. You have the complete control over your chosen languages. Everything including the cart and checkout process is customizable.

Can I use multiple currencies in my store?

Yes, of course! With Smoolis, your can have multiple currencies in your storefront and most importantly, in your checkout process. Set up your preferred currencies and let your customers buy your stuff in the currency they choose.

Do I need a server to host my shop?

No. You won't need to worry about hosting. All Smoolis stores include our fully-managed, high performance cloud hosting.

How can I pay for my plan?

You can purchase simply and securely via credit card, debit card, or prepaid card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you purchase a yearly plan, you will automatically be billed on a yearly basis. If you purchase a monthly plan, the contract length is one month and you will automatically be billed on a monthly basis.

Can I switch paid plans?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When you change your plan your billing cycle will change, and you'll be refunded or charged the prorated difference immediately. Note that you will need to remove some features (number of products and languages) before being able to downgrade.

Can I cancel the service?

You can cancel the service at any time. The charge will stop by the end of the current billing cycle.

What happens to my store at the end of my trial?

Don't worry, if your trial is about to end, we'll send you a gentle reminder. At the end of the trial, you will need to purchase a subscription to continue with your shop, otherwise all of your data will be deleted. To prevent a lapse in service, you can upgrade to a paid subscription at anytime during your trial. However, if you wish to extend your trial for some reason, you can always contact us.
